Airport advertisement
Airports (Jordan)
  • Airports are ideal for targeting audiences as air passengers are generally more affluent and possess greater purchasing power than other types of travellers. This scenario thus ensures that airport advertising pays off by delivering ROI.

As passenger and cargo aviation continues to grow exponentially across the Middle East and Levant region, Kassab Media offers reputed brands exclusive advertising opportunities at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) in Amman, Jordan.

Located 35km from the heart of Amman, QAIA is the principal entry point to the Levant region and since its launch in 1983 has been serving as Jordan’s key gateway to the world.

Following a US$800 million modernisation and expansion programme, a new passenger terminal with an area of 150,000sqm was opened on March 21, 2013.

Currently, the state-of-the-art new passenger terminal has the capacity to handle up to 12 million passengers per annum from its old capacity of 3.5 million.

In 2017, QAIA welcomed 7,914,704 passengers – witnessing a 6.81% increase in passengers in comparison to the previous year. Aircraft movement figures also rose in 2017, experiencing an overall growth of 0.35% and totaling 74,044, whereas cargo traffic figures registered a major year-to-date (YTD) increase of 9.14%, settling at 110,416 tons.

In 2014, ISO-certified QAIA won first place in ‘Best Airport by Region – Middle East’, while maintaining its position as ‘Best Improving Airport in the Middle East’ – beating airports like Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha.
