29 May 2012

The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has endorsed its Strategic Plan 2012 - 2014 as part of its efforts to upgrade and update its Strategic Plan and align it with the Strategic Plan of the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), and in a bid to provide excellent customer service experience to taxi users.

“The DTC recently endorsed its strategic vision of ‘Pioneers in Passenger Transport Services’; which warranted updating the Strategic Plan to match this vision. The plan was reset to include objectives capable of generating more revenues, cutting expenses, realising customer satisfaction, achieving environmental safety and sustainability, and attain the highest operational efficiency,” said Yousef Al Ali, CEO of the Dubai Taxi Corporation.

“The plan encompasses seven strategic goals, 15 strategic objectives and 28 strategic initiatives; which include: The first choice of customers, excellent human resources, financial sustainability, social responsibility, distinguished operation, strong partnerships, and asset sustainability.

“The approved plan stems from the core thrusts of the RTA as it has been developed through analyzing the internal and external work environment by way of meetings involving the largest segment of employees, besides introducing new theories, such as SWOT,” added Al Ali.
